There is still just over a year to be able to enjoy it on the big screen but the production of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the spin-off of Suicide squad starring Harley Quinn, is already underway.

The DC villain will be interpreted by Margot Robbie, who just shared on his Instagram account a photo that we can take a first look at the characterization.

A first difference we observe is that the character bangs have been cut and softened the blue and pink tint of her hair until it was almost imperceptible. Although the most striking of his outfit is the dog collar that leads and where you can read "Bruce". A reference to Authentic name of his enemy Batman in what could come to be an ingenious way to insult him.

At the same time, Warner has also released the first teaser of the film, of just 19 seconds, and in which in addition to Harley Quinn also appear the other protagonists.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina Y Ella Jay Basco are some of the names that will accompany Robbie in the film directed by Cathy Yan.

The story will focus on how, after separating from Joker, the protagonist decides join forces with three other heroines: Black Canary, Cazadora and Renée Montoya. Together they will have to save a girl that has become the target of the Black Mask criminal, interpreted by Ewan McGregor.
